About the Biometric Time clock OT-3000b
The OT-3000b was designed to communicate directly with On-Time Web, sending punch data in near-time (as low as 5-minute intervals.) It is designed to be easy to use and easy to manage.
Push Technology with Biometric Time Clock OT-3000b
The OT-3000b uses push technology. This ‘push’ terminal sends or “pushes” its data to On-Time Web service in real-time, meaning your data is always up to date.
What if the internet goes down? Will I lose my data? Absolutely not! When you lose your data connection the OT-3000b will hold the punches in its memory and upload the data when your connection comes back up. Incidentally, when you rent one of our clocks for On-Time Web, you also get a UPS with the kit so even if your electricity goes out, your employees will be able to make their out punches. In turn, it will also keep the clock safer from power surges or lightning strikes.

Communication Options in the Biometric Time Clock OT-3000b
The communication options for the OT-3000b have two Standard methods of connectivity, Ethernet and serial connection. What if I don’t have either? What if I am in a remote location where I only have electricity? How do I set it up to do this? Simple, install the OT-3000b wherever you have electricity and collect the data with a proprietary data pen drive.
