Company administrators have the ability to activate/inactivate site during business procedures. This way supervisors can not approve records during the export process.
Your Company's Time Tracking Methods
On-Time Web uses two methods for tracking time. The first is the punch type entry method. This is the quickest and most basic entry type for employees. They simply click "IN" when they start a job and click "OUT" when finished. If an employee needs to quickly change departments, jobs or phases they can click "switch" without any loss of time. "Go Lunch" and "Return Lunch" buttons are also available.
The second entry type, sheet, allows for more flexibility creating time transactions by the employee. They can choose their own starting/ending times and the date the transaction occured. Employees may also have the option of choosing different departments, jobs and phasese and arning type
No Calculators Required
Similar time tracking products and services only allow you to put total hours in for a day. With On-Time Web, under the sheet method, you enter actual time. Or just enter the number of hours worked to calculate the end time. The system always calculates hours whether the employee uses punch or sheet.
On-Time Web Reporting.
On-Time Web has a powerful and flexible reporting section that allows its users to take advantage of many reporting variations by using multiple filters. Filters allow you to limit and/or filter your data before you run a report. By doing this, you can create more specific reporting without the need to have custom programming.
The filters on each report may differ slightly. However, every filter is related to the content in the report. For example, the timesheet report has filters for employees, departments, jobs/phases, supervisors, and a date range. The earn type, departments, jobs/phases, and company information reports do not use any filters.

Simple Data Importing
With the Data Import function it couldn't be easier to import employee, department, or job and phase records into On-Time Web. Just download one of the defined templates that is available on your company's On-Time Web site. Next fill it out with the data to be inserted and upload it. The system will let you know which records already exist and won't be inserted and which ones are new records. This saves a significant amount of time. Especially when inserting an enormous amount of records. The Data Import function comes standard with both the basic and pro versions of On-Time Web.
Data Exporting
The pay period has ended. Now we need to utilize the data stored in On-Time Web. Company Administrators can export the approved transactions to three different formats. CSV is a universal format that can easily be intergrated into your payroll program. Export the records to a Microsoft © Excel spreadsheet for easy portability. Also, you may export the transactions to a QuickBooks © payroll file.
OSAS Importing
Do you currently use Open Systems Accounting Software ™ (OSAS) as your payroll program? On-Time Web Pro users are able to import their exported time transactions into OSAS using the import program.
Your Data is safe & secure
Customware, Inc. will always have current backup copies of your On-Time Web data in case of catastrophic events. However, administrators can backup all your data to a .zip file stored locally at your company for your own safe keeping as frequent as you choose. The data can easily be restored through On-Time Web's Restore process if something happens.
Send Email Messages *
On-Time Web lets employees and supervisors communicate with one another. Supervisors and company administrators can send email reminders to complete or fix timesheets.
Company administrators have the option of emailing company wide messages. Tuesday's meeting has been postponed, timesheet due date reminders, etc. Send out a message letting everyone know.
The body is completely rich-text so if you need to emphasize areas to employees the option is available.
Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Compliant
Any organization that contracts with the US Department of Defense must follow specific timekeeping guidelines set forth by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). These time tracking guidelines have been implemented by the United States Government to ensure contractors time and costs for Department of Defense projects are accounted for accurately and without misuse. On-Time Web meets these guidelines and is completely DCAA compliant.

Existing entries can still be viewd and edited as well. There is no report creation, file maintenance, or system functions on the mobile side.
